Senior data science and AI help, without a full-time hire. One person builds it end to end: automation that clears the busywork, AI assistants that answer customers, dashboards you'll actually open, and forecasts and pricing you can act on.

Why fractional
Senior skills, without a full-time seat to fill.
A full-time data scientist or AI engineer is a big hire, and most small businesses don't have 40 hours a week of data and AI work. Here's an honest look at the usual options.
Option 1
A full-time hire
Makes sense when there's enough data and AI work to keep someone busy every week, for years.
What you pay for
A full salary and benefits, plus recruiting time and the tools they need.
Commitment
Long-term, and hard to undo if the work dries up.
Watch for
One person who covers data, AI, and automation well can be hard to find.
Option 2
An agency
Makes sense for a large build that needs design, development, and marketing under one roof.
What you pay for
A team, often with project management and account management layers.
Commitment
Often larger projects or retainers sized for bigger clients.
Watch for
The person who sells the project may not be the person who builds it.
Option 3
Do it yourself
Makes sense when the task is simple and someone on your team enjoys this kind of work.
What you pay for
Low in dollars, high in evenings and weekends.
Commitment
None, until it breaks and nobody remembers how it works.
Watch for
Forecasts and AI tools that look right but haven't been checked.
Fractional, with Rizq Labs
A senior expert, part time
Makes sense when you need senior data and AI skills for a few projects a year or a few hours a month, not 40 hours a week.
What you pay for
A fixed price per project, then optional month-to-month support.
Commitment
One workflow at a time. Stop anytime.
Watch for
Limited capacity: I take on a small number of businesses at a time.
Sometimes the right answer is a full-time hire or a specialized tool. If that's what the audit shows, I'll tell you.
What I can own for you
Five jobs, one person.
Start with whichever is worth the most to you. I start with features you already pay for, then connect the tools you use, and build custom only where a real gap remains.
Every project has a written scope, a fixed price, and acceptance criteria agreed before work starts. Ongoing help is month to month.
A written scopeWhat gets built, what “done” means, and how we'll both know it works.
Documentation and handoverWhat I build stays with your business, documented, if you stop working with me.
Training for your teamWhoever reviews the output learns how, so your team can check and run it day to day.

About
One senior expert, from first call to go-live.
I've spent more than seven years working with Florida businesses across call centers, sales, hospitality, banking and lending, healthcare, restaurants, contracting, and insurance. Most of that time I've been building AI, machine learning, and data systems: lending decision engines, credit and pricing models, automated agents, and the data pipelines behind them.
A fractional arrangement gives your business that experience without a full-time hire. I'm based in South Florida, work with businesses across the state over video calls, and I'm personally accountable for every project.
Results from my previous roles
90% fasterOffer generation at a lender funding $400M+ a year. I rebuilt the company's decision engine; funded volume also rose 17% and defaults fell 8%.
$14MIn new funded volume from a framework I built that let the company safely serve a customer segment it had been turning away.
+13%Revenue, with 7% less spoilage, after I rebuilt a pricing model for a global hospitality brand.
These are outcomes at previous employers, in different industries, not results for small-business clients. They show the kind of work I do: finding where money leaks and building models people actually use.
Data science, AI, and MLLending and pricing modelsBased in South Florida
You get a senior data scientist and AI engineer for part of the time, instead of hiring one full time. In practice that means fixed-price projects, one workflow at a time, and, if you want it, a set number of hours each month for ongoing work. You don't pay for a full-time seat you'd struggle to keep busy.
How many hours a month do I get?
That's set on the call, based on the work. Many businesses start with one fixed-price project and no ongoing hours at all. If you want ongoing help, we set a number of hours each month in writing, month to month, so you can scale up, scale down, or stop. I take on a small number of businesses at a time so each one gets real attention.
What tools do you work with?
Usually the ones you already have: QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, your POS and CRM, and spreadsheets. Dashboards are built in a tool you have or a free one such as Google Sheets or Looker Studio, or Power BI if you use it. Before anything is connected, I tell you which AI services will see your information. If something new would genuinely help, I'll explain why and what it costs first.
Who owns the data and the work?
Your data and accounts are yours, and software subscriptions are set up in your business's name. The workflows, reports, and models I build for you stay with your business, with documentation, if you stop working with me.
What if it's not a fit?
Then I'll tell you on the call or in the recommendation, at no cost. Sometimes the better answer is a feature you already pay for, a specialized tool, or a full-time hire. If we do work together, ongoing support is month to month, so you can stop anytime.
Do you work outside Florida, or remotely?
I'm based in South Florida and focus on Florida businesses. Most of the work happens over video calls and shared screens, so where you are in the state doesn't matter. If you're outside Florida, reach out anyway and I'll tell you honestly whether it makes sense.
